Blushing Pink for Rose Quartz

The 2016 colors of the year were recently named by Pantone and for the first time ever there are two! -- Rose Quarts and Serenity. Rose quartz in particular is one of my favorite colors and I am so excited to wear even more this year than I already do :) This pretty little cardigan is the perfect way to incorporate just a little bit of pink into this otherwise monochromatic look. I love a comfy and cozy cardigan that goes with just about everything and this one is perfect for me! 

**Jana Style Tip -- If you are thinking about incorporating the new colors of the year into your 2016 wardrobe, start by adding little subtle pops of the colors into your outfits. Accessories, scarves, and handbags are great ways to play with color and start to gradually incorporate them.

Winter Style | Lace Sweater Love

Well, it finally happened! We got our first snow fall in Kansas City! I was really getting used to those 60 degree temperatures but it looks like the unusual warm weather might be over for now. The bright side is that it's time for me to start getting some use out of my favorite sweaters and some of my more layered looks that haven't been getting worn! This cute crochet and lace detail sweater has been waiting for the perfect reason to make it's debut and I am so in love with it!!! How cute is that little lace hem, it's so romantic and girly..and so my style! I really like over-sized sweaters so I can pair them with my leggings and boots when it's cold outside. This look will definitely  be a go-to over the next couple of months until we finally see spring again!

Holi - Day Sparkle | Summit Fair

One of the things I love most about the holiday season is that it's the perfect reason to add a little sparkle to any look! Today I styled this denim and blazer outfit to show that you can jazz up your daytime looks for the holidays too! This would be perfect for a Friday office party or a lunch date out with your girlfriends this holiday season. Make sure to keep your denim a darker wash and pair them with a sleek fitting blazer and top to create a polished casual tone to the outfit.

JANA STYLE TIP: If you want to take this look from day to night you can easily change out of your jeans and pair the top with a pencil skirt or leather leggings and change out the booties to a black pump!

Winter Wardrobe | Summit Fair

It's getting colder here in Kansas City and the change in season means a change in my working wardrobe too! I love to always incorporate color into my winter wardrobe. Adding pops of color makes me feel bright and happy in the cold and dreary winter months. Happy December! Where has this year gone!?!

My first snow pics of the year are on the blog today! I spent Thanksgiving weekend with my family eating, playing games, and watching football! But, I also had to have some fun playing in the snow too! My outfit for turkey day was all about cozy-comfort and staying warm of course!

I am so thankful for this year and all the amazing blessings I have in my life! 30 has been incredible and it's going to be sad to see 2015 go! I'm spending this last month of the year planning for 2016 and goal setting, but I also want to make sure I am living in the moment and enjoying these last 31 days of 2015!
