Bell Sleeves | Summit Fair

Fall fashion inspires me more than any other season. I love jackets, new jeans, boots, and layering my wardrobe pieces into so many new outfit combinations. I also love to try new trends or in this case, an old trend that has become new again; bell sleeves. There are a lot of 70's vibes happening in fall fashion this year, I've seen several of these retro inspired details while out shopping at Summit Fair. High waisted skirts, wide legged jeans, and bell sleeves are all making a big come back this season. Fashion is meant to be fun, and this pretty fall top is a lot of fun to wear!

Fall Watercolor | Summit Fair

Hey friends!

I know it's been a little quiet over here on the blog. I took a little break this week because the Fall season has been full of so many extra events and behind the scenes things. I'm back today with a new look featuring some of my favorite stores at Summit Fair! The weather in Kansas City has been anything but fall-like. It's hard to imagine boots and jackets when the temps have still been in the 80's and 90's! I know it's coming though, and I'll be ready because I've been planning so many ways to wear this little jean jacket and watercolor splashed dress. Right now, I've paired it with my favorite pink strappy heels but when the weather eventually does cool down, I've got some heeled black booties that will transition this look perfectly.

Fall Romance | Summit Fair

Happy Thursday friends! This week is flying by, I can't believe it! I'm getting all geared up for this weekend's "Fall Style Sessions" at Summit Fair and hope I will be seeing you there! Get all the details down at the bottom of this post :)

This week's styled look has me feeling all kinds of romance for fall! I love pairing a pretty floral print with my favorite dark wash skinny jeans and some amazing fall booties! It's a great transitional look for these days that are still on the warmer side. I have been wearing off the shoulder styles all summer long, and I am going to be transitioning them into fall as long as I can!

Wine + Olive | Summit Fair

Deep burgundy wine and olive green are two of my favorite fall colors and I love them paired together! When I spotted this ahh-mazing lace skirt in the perfect Merlot I was instantly in love! There is no better fall color to incorporate this season than this beautiful rich hue. Fall is one of my favorite seasons to try new trends and to be a little bit more daring with my style. One of the best ways to do that is take a risk on a silhouette, color, or fabric that brings a bold statement to an otherwise simple look. The lace detailing and color on this skirt, takes this outfit to another level. I tend to play up my styling in the fall season by mixing a feminine piece with a more rugged piece like this dusty olive utility jacket paired with the much more delicate lace skirt.
