New Years '19 Style | Summit Fair

The countdown to 2-0-1-9 is almost here!!! I am a girl who loves a little sparkle and a lot of shine for New Year's Eve! Sequins, faux fur, or metallic glitz are always favorites of mine for NYE style. I spotted this fun skirt while shopping the stores at Summit Fair this week and I knew it would be perfect for ringing in the New Year! I decided to pair it with this super-soft, white faux fur coat because it looks very classic and has a touch of old Hollywood glamour. I styled the look with a classic pair of black patent pumps, a statement necklace, and a satin clutch, which brought the whole look together. 

5 Tips for Perfect New Years Style

1. Statement Jewelry -  sparkly bracelets, bold necklaces, and cocktail rings, make great go-to pieces for NYE glam. 

2. Sparkle and Shine - Find that one piece like a glittery top, sequins blazer, or metallic skirt that takes your outfit up a notch! 

3. Pop of  color on your lips - Don't forget you have a kiss at midnight! Make your lips look their best with a moisturizing lipstick or tint -- steer clear of sticky gloss. 

4. Stay warm but make a statement - Find an outwear piece that keeps you cozy but also adds a little punch to your look. A colored or faux fur coat are great options. 

5. Choose shoes that are great for dancing or standing. It's going to be a long night so choose your shoes accordingly.

Can you believe we are just a couple days away from Christmas!?! One of my favorite things about this time of the year is the low-key vibes spent with my family. My absolute favorite part of it all -- is Christmas morning spent with my husband.  It has become one of our traditions to spend the first few hours of Christmas Day together at home. Holiday Dress Time! | @Jolly's

Holiday dress season is finally here! There will be parties and get-togethers all month long, which means there is not a better time for getting all fancied up to be merry and bright! 

I stopped by @Jolly's, one of my favorite local boutiques this past week and picked up this fabulous polka-dot dress and cozy red cardigan combo! I'm absolutely in LOVE with this look for holiday time! I think this would be the perfect look for Christmas brunch with my girlfriends, a holiday happy hour, or a white elephant party with friends! 

When I am on the hunt for the perfect holiday dress, I always think about a few things...

1.) Can I RE-STYLE the dress later for another occasion or another holiday event?

2.) Does it feel COMFORTABLE and does it have a forgiving FIT - for eating, drinking, and socializing?

3.)  Does it have a FESTIVE print or color? 

4.) Do I FEEL CONFIDENT when I wear it? 

If I can check off these few things on my list, I know I've found the right dress! This sassy polka-dot dress definitely matched my criteria. It's flattering, fun, and loose fitting, which is so important when you want to relax and enjoy all the holiday goodies!
