4th of July Outfit Inspo | Summit Fair

Happy Fourth of July! If you are like me you are planning on spending the weekend with family and friends, barbecuing, and enjoying some fun in the sun! I'll also be squeezing some shopping time into the long holiday weekend so I can score some great deals during the July 4th Sales at Summit Fair!

 I'm super excited because we are having some of our family over for our first holiday get together in our new home! I love to be comfortable but I also want to be stylish, so I created a style board inspired by my love for Stripes and of course; Red, White, and Blue! Floral Wrap Dress | Summit Fair

Happy Thursday Friends! Summer has officially begun this week and I couldn't be happier! We've had steamy hot weather here in Kansas City to welcome the first days of summer, and the only way to stay cool is to wear flowy, easy-breezy fabrics! I'm a girl who loves to wear dresses all summer long because they are comfortable and easy to style when it's so hot and humid in the Midwest. One of my favorite and most classic styles is the wrap dress. A wrap dress is a dress with a front closure formed by wrapping one side across the other, and knotting the attached ties that wrap around the back at the waist. This forms a V-shaped neckline and creates a curvy silhouette that is extremely flattering on most women. One of my favorite ways to style the wrap dress is to wear a bralette underneath. This adds a pop of texture or color and gives more coverage, plus who doesn't want to wear a bralette as opposed to a real bra when it's 90 + degrees outside?! :)  Stylish and way more comfortable is the way to go! 

  The stores at Summit Fair are gearing-up for summer sidewalk sales and I've noticed some incredible sales and clearance items already hitting the floors. I scored this pretty floral wrap dress at a steal of a price for under $30  Whoohoo!

Hey There Summer! | Summit Fair

Yeah! It's Thursday Friends! We've made it over half way through the week, and I'm pumped for all the summer plans we have this weekend! We are celebrating Nick's Mom's birthday, Father's Day, and a fun trip to Boulevardia!

Weekend Adventures | Brick House Coffee Shop ☕

Happy Monday! I'm having some major Monday blues over here today. I had such a fun weekend hanging with my sister, working on blog content, and getting some projects done at our new house. I love a busy and productive weekend but they always seem to go by way too fast! Am I right!?! 

Saturday morning my sis and I headed to Brick House Coffee Bar & Eatery for a yummy breakfast on the patio. The weather was absolutely amazing and the food was delicious! We love exploring local coffee hot spots around Kansas City together. If you are from KC and know some other great spots, leave me a comment below -- we will check them out! :) Then it was off to do some flower shopping for the new house. I was looking for some small potted plants that would add some color around the front porch. When we moved I lost my pretty flowers from our old house so I was on a mission to find some new ones. I was super lucky and hit up the clearance flower section only to find a jackpot of pink, purple, red, and white blooms for .75¢! All they needed was a little TLC and they would be perfect! In fact, I've planted all of them and they look amazing already! My Sunday was spent relaxing, cleaning, and blogging getting ready for a busy week of work and meetings. Here's to a fast week and another amazing weekend ahead!
