Summer Style Sessions | Print Dress + Denim Jacket

Hey fashion friends! Summer is literally going, going, almost gone. (insert sad face with tears) I am a girl who thrives in the summer. I love the warm weather, sunshine, pool days, patio nights and overall great feelings that summer brings. I do however love the fashion that eventually comes with the cooler temps of Fall. Denim jackets being one of my favorite fall staple items paired with just about every look in my wardrobe. Today's styled look combines a few of my favorite summer pieces paired with a fall favorite, my vintage modern middle of the map denim jacket! I am slowly working in a few early layering pieces into each outfit as the fall season inches closer.

Last week I had an opportunity to meet one of my Instagram friends, Corey Brown Photography! We perused some of my favorite local spots around Lee's Summit while snapping photos and sipping on iced lattes! I love meeting online friends in real life and connecting about our love for photography, fashion, business, and bossbabe hustling! It always inspires me and gives me a boost of energy to keep working towards dreams and goals when I meet other women doing the same! Thanks Corey for the fun photo session!

Nighttime Routine:

*Sleep on a satin or silk pillowcase

o Use an Invisibobble to pull your hair back into a low pony so it doesn’t get tangled in your sleep

o If you want to hold your volume overnight use Velcro rollers

Morning Routine:

o Make sure to protect your hair in the shower by using a terry cloth lined shower cap

o If your hair needs moisture, we recommend using Dry Conditioner if needed

o Use anti Humidity spray as needed Days 2-5

o Don’t be shy about touching up the hair by your face or on the top of your head. You can use a flat iron to help smooth, or blow dryer to help with volume and create fullness.

Summer Style Sessions | Tie Dress

Hey Friends, Happy Monday! Here we go, another new week! :)

A couple of weekends ago we celebrated my husband's birthday and I haven't had a chance to post my outfit of the night. We celebrated with an amazing Italian dinner at Maggiano's Little Italy, which was sooooo good! Nick had the Lasagna and I had the Portobello Ravioli, I highly recommend both dishes. Maggiano's has the most delicious food and my favorite sparkling rosé wine ever, you should check it out if you haven't yet.

I wore this pretty floral swing dress and heels for a simple and pretty summery look. I scored this fit & flare dress on sale at Target for $16! They have some of the CUTEST dresses right now, and a lot of them are on SALE which makes it even better! I love florals and couldn't pass up the price point when I spotted it! Summer fashions are winding down and now is a great time to find the great deals!

Summer Trend: Kimonos | Summit Fair

Happy Thursday Fashion Friends! Summer is in full swing and I am actually really, really, loving the warm temps and sunshine. I am a girl who thrives in warm weather and it makes me feel so good, anyone else feel the same? Summer is the best time of year! :)

One of my favorite summer trends has been pairing printed kimonos with just about everything in my wardrobe! I wear them with my swimsuits, shorts, or classic white denim and t-shirts like I've styled here today. Seriously, there is absolutely nothing you can't pair with this fun trend. I love that a kimono adds so much color, print, and movement to a simple look!
