Summit Fair Runway Trend: Pops of Yellow

Hey ya'll! Happy Thursday, I'm back today with a new Summit Fair Style Guide featuring one of Spring's biggest trends straight from the fashion week runways. Yellow is popping -- literally everywhere for spring! It's "Bright and Beaming" as Rachel  Parcell would say, and you have-got to get some in your S/S 19' wardrobe ASAP!

One thing to remember with this trend is to not let it take over your entire outfit. Find ways to incorporate it into pieces you already own. I of course love blush pink, so incorporating yellow items into my look that compliments the pink creates the POP of yellow. Color trends definitely stand out it all the storefront windows as I shopped the stores at Summit Fair this week, I had no problem finding several amazing spring pieces that will add a highlight of color to your outfits this spring!

I've rounded up some of my favorites spring pieces to get you started.

 Happy Shopping!

1.Yellow Floral Dress - Macys $128.00

2. Hair Band - HM $7.00

3. Betsey Johnson Daisy Heels - DSW $60.00

4. Yellow Bucket Bag - DSW $40.00

5. Sunglasses - Loft $25.00

6. Tassel Earrings - Francescas $16.00

7. Charlotte Tulbury Lipstick - Sephora inside JCPenney $34.00

Lavender Lace + Pinstripe Pants | Cato

It's finally Friday!! I'm so excited to be sharing this pretty spring look from Cato with you today! It would be the perfect casual Easter look for brunch with family or hanging outside enjoying the gorgeous spring weather we are scheduled to have over the weekend. I am so in love with this blush crochet top with scalloped edges and the pinstripe ankle jeans together. The fit of these jeans is so good. They have just the right amount of stretch and they fit perfect at my waist too! Of course I paired the look with my rose gold heeled sandals from the Cato comfort collection. These shoes have added cushion on the sole for a comfy fit and you won't believe this -- they are a faux buckle that actually velcros for easily slipping them on and off!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think Cato is one of those hidden gems for finding the perfect trendy and stylish fashion pieces at an unbelievably price point. I love when my clothes budget goes a really long ways and I can get so many fantastic new pieces in one shopping trip. Who doesn't want to get more for you money, and Cato always makes that happen for me.

I've linked these pieces and similar finds below for easy shopping, but I also recommend stopping into a store near you. I always find great items on sale and the newest merchandise in-store!

Happy Shopping!

Everything Is Coming Up Daisies at Summit Fair

Hey Yo! Friends! Happy Thursday! I have been a busy bee revamping my spring wardrobe and trend hunting at my favorite stores around Summit Fair! One trend that I have seen in just about every store around the shopping center are these tie front blouses in some of the most fun patterns for spring! I spotted this pretty daisy print at Maurices and knew I just had to share it with all of you!

I love that pretty yellow colors (or Ice Mango as Pantone is calling it) are such a huge trend this season, so I have been finding little ways to pop it into my spring looks. I have a hard time pulling off an entire yellow look because it's a tough color for me to wear with my blonde hair and skintone, so I like to find small printed pieces and accessories that I can mix and match into my existing wardrobe that accent the yellow.

What spring colors are you loving this year?

Get Pumped with Gordmans!

Hey Friends! Today I'm so excited to be bringing you another spring look from Gordmans and I'm also so thrilled to be a part of the #GetPumpedForHeartHealth Campaign! All throughout the month of April Gordmans will be raising awareness about heart health and hosting give back opportunities for the American Heart Association (AHA) both in store and online. Heart health is not only about staying fit and healthy, it's also about being mentally, emotionally, and spiritually healthy. Random acts of kindness, community involvement, and everyday respect or compassion for others can do so much, not only for others but also for your own heart-healthy lifestyle.

Easy acts of kindness don't take much time or cost much at all. Some examples of ways to spread heart healthy kindness include letting someone go in front of you in line, teaching someone something new, inviting a friend over for dinner, passing along a good book, or calling your long distance relatives or grandparents to spend some time listening about their day. Small things can mean so much to someone who may really need to receive a small memento of love and kindness.

There are TWO Ways to help Gordmans raise money for the American Heart Association this month:

1. Shop at Gordmans
this month you can support the AHA by donating in stores, just choose your amount at the register. It's so easy and can do so much!
2. Snap it, Tag it, Share it....
Show Gordmans how you get pumped for heart health. Is it working out, having fun with friends, sharing a healthy meal? Post a pic on on instagram with #GetPumpedForHeartHealth
For every post, Gordmans will donate $1 to the American Heart Association, up to $10,000.
Find out more HERE!

All the pieces of this outfit were gifted to me by Gordmans. You can shop this look by visiting a Gordmans Store new you!

Sunday Best Style | Summit Fair

Easter Sunday is right around the corner and it's finally time to embrace all the things about Fresh Spring Style! I shopped the stores at Summit Fair this week and picked up this adorable linen tie front midi skirt and floral sweater look from the Roz and Ali store. Roz and Ali is a spin-off store from what used to be the Dressbarn. I've really loved shopping the new store and scooping up so many high quality, trendy pieces at such amazing price points...you won't believe it!

Spring midi skirts and easy breezy lightweight sweaters are the perfect combination for these early spring days when it can still be just a little on the cooler side. I paired this look with my new Jewel Espadrille Wedge Sandals that I found at the DSW sale a couple of weeks ago. If you follow along on my weekly shopping trips to Summit Fair via my Instagram Stories you probably saw me pick these up!
