BareMinerals and Marie Claire Magazine Beauty Event

Leslie Blodgett promotes Jonathan Adler & BareMinerals Collaboration

Tuesday night I attended this beauty event at Oak Park Mall. The creator of bareMinerals, Leslie Blodgett was there to promote the collaboration of bareMinerals with Jonathan Adler. Jonathan is an internationally recognized designer of home decor, and most recently handbags. I was especially excited to meet Leslie knowing she is a very successful and entrepreneurial business woman! I think her story is so inspiring! My bareMinerals Beauty Ambassador Heather was so pretty and sweet! She applied a beautiful pink blush called "The One" ($22) and she also applied two colors on my lips. First she applied a matte nude/pink lip color called "Freewill" ($16) and then she put a pink shimmer gloss over top called "Show Off" which is part of the Moxie lip gloss line. I usually wear a bright lip color so this was a bit of a change for me, but I really liked the contrast of the lips with my purple eye shadow.

I loved the coats and hats in this collection. I noticed a sophisticated twist on the pantsuits, vests, and jumpsuits in this collection.

Trina Turk Sweepstakes Shopping Spree

I was a lucky girl and won an amazing sweepstakes from Tina Turk and HauteLook!

Two outfits, a new pink coat, a ticket to the Trina Turk presentation at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, and I met Trina! I had an amazing time at the store trying on all the beautiful clothes and sipping on Mimosas!

The store is beautiful and colorful. I felt like I stepped into spring when i entered the store. Tina is a true California girl! Her clothes are colorful with fun patterns and light weight fabrics.

Pops of jewelry displayed around the store. I loved the statement pieces and bright beaded necklaces.

Noon By Noor Fall 2013 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

The Noon by Noor collection was my favorite fashion show that I attended during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The clothes were beautiful and I loved the style. Here are some of my favorite looks from the collection.

The models had dark cherry lips and a light eye makeup. I loved the loose waves in their hair and the beanie caps that they wore with several of the looks in the collection.
