Spring Style Staples | Summit Fair

Happy Thursday my beautiful blog readers! Can you believe the first month of the year has flown by so fast?!? New spring merchandise is arriving in all the stores at Summit Fair and seeing all the new styles this week is making me sooo ready to flip my winter clothes with my spring clothes. This winter has been extremely cold and it's made me so much more anxious for spring fashion! One of my favorite pieces for spring is an olive green utility jacket. It's become a spring staple in my wardrobe and it's usually one of the first things I pull out to start styling. You can't go wrong with this very versatile piece because it goes perfectly with denim, colored jeans, or spring dresses. It's one of those pieces that just about pairs with everything in my wardrobe! Today's outfit is a mix of several of my favorite pieces; comfortable sateen jeans, a casual and super soft sweatshirt, paired with the "go-to" olive green utility jacket. It's a super easy look but I love the combination! I did decide to put on a pair of heels but I could easily switch them out for a pair of slides or a stylish sneaker too!

Winter Style | Summit Fair

Well, January has been a frigid, icy, and snowy tundra! It's so hard to feel pretty when it's 10 degrees. I'm a girl who loves the sunshine and I need to feel a little warmth to feel best, but what are you gonna do right!? Just gotta grab a vanilla chai latte, get through January and February, and pray for warm weather after that :) 

In the heart of winter I like to wear things that make me think of spring -- floral and pastels are ALWAYS a "go-to" for me. I found this over-sized, long cardigan in a soft, fluffy knit, with dropped shoulders, and ribbing on the cuffs and hem at Summit Fair while shopping the stores this week. These super cozy sweaters have been a favorite of mine during this oh soooo cold winter we've had here in the Midwest! I absolutely love the unbelievably soft fabric, it feels like a dream when I wear it! I paired it with a floral print scarf to add a pop of color and pattern and a deep purple handbag.

Happy 2018!!! One of my favorite things about starting the new year is starting fresh with new beauty products and trying out a couple of new beauty services too!  Making time for self-care and relaxation is one of the best ways to start the new year feeling revived and focused. HELLO 2018!!!

I can't believe it! Another year gone in a flash! 20-17 was quick, stylish, and full of many ups and downs for me and so many others. This year I learned to hold tight to loved ones, cherish the small things, and live everyday with purpose and love. I find comfort through sharing fashion here on JANA STYLE and it means so much to me to share that passion with my beautiful blog readers :)  

One thing is very true...I loved florals hard in 2017 and apparently you all loved them too! My Best in Nine shows a really great snapshot of some of my favorite outfits from this past year! 

I was lucky to collaborated with some fabulous brands like JCPenney, Pandora, DIFF Eyewear, Lee Jeans, Maurices, Talbots, and Many More! This was truly such a big deal for me because I had a goal of taking my blog to the next level by connecting with some of my favorite brands, and I did it! I feel so thankful for reaching that goal and grateful to the brands who collaborated with me this year!
