Floral Summer Romper Love

I am so excited to share this collaboration today between myself and Tara Shupe Photography! I was absolutely thrilled when she reached out to me to work together -- the power of connection through social media is such an amazing thing! Tara has an phenomenal background in photography with clients including Lord & Taylor, Birchbox, Dressbarn and Free People.  I had such a great time sharing ideas and laughing with her as we snapped these shots! She was really down to earth and so fun! I am always inspired by other creatives growing their businesses and sharing their dreams and visions with me. It's a breathe of fresh air to share new ideas and try new things! I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work together and absolutely love the images she captured of me in this summer time look!

As you know, my summer outfit staples have been a cute easy breezy look, my fedora, and a cold drink of course! I have also been loving anything floral these days!

The key for summer style is to keep your accessories pretty simple when wearing bold prints. I paired this look with some gold bangle bracelets and hoop earrings, nothing too heavy or bold. I also think when wearing rompers it's important to define your waist line. I added this gold braided belt for a casual yet pretty detail.

Summit Fair Design Preview Fashion Shows

I have been a busy, busy, busy, lady! and I mean that in a good way! This has got to be one of the busiest months I have had all year and it's been amazing! I started the month with several styling projects and the biggest one by far was organizing and styling the four Summit Fair Design Preview Fashion Shows!

I'm so proud of the way all four shows came together, so today I wanted to share some of the great looks I pulled from Macy's and featured in the shows! I absolutely love styling and pulling together looks for fashion shows, personal clients, and the editorial and styled shoots I have had a chance to collaborate on lately. It's always so fun to see it all come together and also to see the way people respond to a great looking outfit!

@Jolly's Little Pink Dress

Happy Monday! I'm back after a fun and very full weekend!!! I spent a ton of time with my family, checked out the Big Slick Celebrity Softball game Friday night, headed to Boulevardia on Saturday, and ended the weekend celebrating Father's Day and my Mom's Birthday! Talk about a lot going on :)

The weather has turned super hot here in KC and the best way for me to stay cool is to find the perfect summer dress! My friends @Jolly's always have the best trendy pieces and the perfect dresses. I stopped by their fun downtown Lee's Summit boutique last week for their Ladies Night Out Event and scored this pretty pink number! It's going to be a favorite for the summer!

West 18th Street Fashion Show || Invitational Summer

Last Saturday night I attended the 15th Annual West 18th Street Fashion Show. This is one of my favorite fashion events of the year in Kansas City! This year there was an unexpected twist when the rain started to fall and just wouldn't stop! The fashion show was moved from West 18th Street to the Kansas City Public Library. The hall was filled with the city's most fashionable and the backdrop of the library looked gorgeous! I've been lucky to attend several seasons of the show and I was blown away by this year's amazing collections and group of designers. This has definitely been one of my favorite shows ever! Congrats to all the designers and the amazing team behind the show!
