I have been really interested in starting yoga recently. I have heard so many benefits of hitting the mat just a couple of times a week and also the relaxation and meditation time that it provides. I have been non stop in life lately and I think that Yoga would be an amazing way to get both exercise and a little bit of time to quiet all the things going on constantly in my brain. Of course, with a new exercise routine, I will have to have the perfect wardrobe to match!
I've recently been introduced to an exercise and workout wear line called Sweaty Betty. It's a UK brand that has been gaining a lot of attention and has helped to create a thriving market of fashionable workout wear. I know working out isn't all that glamorous but I at least want to feel good about what I'm wearing...right! The Sweaty Betty brand is growing quickly and has recently opened two US locations (SoHo, NY and Greenwich, CT).
I love the functional and fashionable pieces of this line. The yoga tanks are super long, which I love, and are made of loose fitting fabric with a detachable bra underneath. The yoga pants are reversible with thick elastic waistbands and strategically placed seams to create a slimming silhouette. Check out a few of the pieces I would love to add to my workout wardrobe above.

I think I'm going to try out Yoga Rocks the Park! You will have to let me know when you plan to go :) They also have a free class this Saturday (at 8:45) down at Athleta on the plaza that I'm going to try and make it to!
