Talbots 70th Anniversary Collection

Today I am so excited to share this look inspired by Talbots 70th Anniversary Collection! Over the decades, Talbots has dressed some of the most influential, powerful, accomplished (and yes, cool) women—from Oprah and Katie Couric to Taylor Swift, Jessica Alba and Michelle Obama. For 70 years, millions of women have shared the special occasions wearing the timeless and timely pieces with the effortless chic and thoughtful confidence that epitomizes #ModernClassicStyle

 To celebrate this exciting milestone, Talbots has created a capsule collection of exclusive pieces, one for each of the seven decades in their story. From Lauren Bacall’s crisp white shirt (1940's) and Audrey Hepburn’s little black dress (1960's) to Ali MacGraw’s turtleneck (1970's) and Faye Dunaway’s power blazer (1980's), these style icons were the inspiration for the seven piece collection.

I chose to style the Iconic Cable Knit Sweater and the Signature Scarf into a go-to casual look perfect for the crisp cool fall weather! What I love about the Talbots 70th Anniversary Collection is that all of the pieces are completely interchangeable and literally could be a part of your wardrobe for years to come. They are classic timeless pieces that any women can wear and feel confident in wearing them for work or a casual weekend day!
