Ringing in the New Year in Style | Summit Fair

This year is coming to an end and I truly can't believe it! It's been such a fast year with so many ups and downs. 2017 feels as though it's been an exceptionally rough one for so many people and I want to take a moment to send all the love and positively I can out to all my friends, family, and blog readers. I find so much comfort here on my blog through this amazing community and my love of fashion. I only hope to share just a little bit of that with each of you. I know fashion isn't one of the biggest ways to impact the world, but I hope that it brings even just a small amount of joy to your day.  I recently read a quote that really hit a cord in my heart;

Let's talk about today's styled look! As you may know the Midwest has been hit by a huge Arctic cold snap! We've had snow and single digit temps which makes it kind of hard to look glam for New Year's night, but I found this amazing faux fur coat and lux berry colored velvet dress while shopping the after Christmas sales at Summit Fair this week. I think these gorgeous pieces styled together will make the perfect NYE outfit! I added some pretty sparkly jewelry and a glitter clutch...POW! I'm ready for the countdown!
