Falling for Florals | Summit Fair

Hey there friends, Happy Thursday! The weather in Kansas City has been sooo unpredictable lately...as they say; welcome to fall in the Midwest, right!?! It's officially that time of year when you have to have multiple wardrobe pieces that can be put on in the morning and taken off by the afternoon. The last couple of days have started in the 30's and ended up near 70 degrees later in the day. That's a crazy temperature difference and it makes getting dressed a bit of a challenge. In order to make stylish outfit options, I've turned to adding in a few key outerwear pieces that aren't too heavy but still add an extra layer of warmth on the chilly mornings. I love to wear dresses so I'm making them work for as long as the weather will allow.

One of the trends in outerwear that I'm loving this fall is the long over-sized blazer. Menswear has been such a huge fashion influence in the last few seasons and I love to mix it with a feminine girly pieces like a floral dress and heels. Structured sleek wardrobe pieces like this duster blazer will be perfect for transitioning as the weather gets even colder.
