Dressy Spring Styles | Summit Fair

Happy Thursday Friends!! I have some good news for you today -- Spring is officially just TWO weeks away, finally!!! This has felt like the longest winter ever. The snow just keeps on coming and we haven't had a break from this frigid cold in seriously months! It's been rough, but I'm looking on the brighter side and counting down the days until the spring season officially begins.

I get a lot of questions about work wear and dressy looks for the spring and summer season. It seams to be one of the hardest categories of creating fashionable, wearable looks. I have a couple of key pieces that have been my go-to's for office attire and I wanted to share them with you today.

First up, is the Ponte Knit Skinny Pant. These pants are seriously a life saver. They are super comfortable, have amazing fit, and they wash and wear beautifully. The soft forgiving fabric has just the right about of stretch and holds up amazingly as they are worn. If you don't have a Ponte Knit Pant in your work wear wardrobe, I would highly suggest getting them.

My second key piece is a classic cardigan in a couple of different colors. My office is always chilly, no matter what time of the year. It's always nice to have a light weight layering pieces like this waffle thermal long cardigan to throw on over dresses or light weight tops. Make sure the colors you purchase for your spring and summer wardrobe can be mixed and matched to create several different looks throughout the season. That is the key to making this seasonal piece essential in your wardrobe.

My third must have Spring/Summer work wardrobe piece, has to do with footwear. A classic pump in black, nude, and/or gray can be worn with all of your work wear looks and will polish up your styled outfits for the office. There is something about a sleek heeled pump that elongates your legs and creates a very pulled-together polished style that always looks great. Think about how classic Meghan Markle always looks in her signature classic pumps.
