Last Friday night I finally made it back to the runways at
Kansas City Fashion Week!!! I have taken a few seasons off from attending and I was so excited to get back to live fashion shows and seeing all talent that the Kansas City Fashion community has to offer! I am always deeply inspired and so grateful that we have such incredible talent right here in the Midwest! It's such an experience to attend the shows and see it all the action up close. I was so impressed and truly just so thankful to back in my seat experiencing it all as a member of the KCFW Media team!! Check out my look and my Runway Recap below!
Friday Night Runway Recap
| Gracie Key’s collection started the night with retro inspired old Hollywood glam. Feminine silhouettes with sparkle and sheer fabrics were a stunning way to start the night! One of my favorite looks was the finale piece of the collection; a white silk gown with intricate sequins paired with a white faux fur jacket with a beautiful blue satin lining. |

Lauren Bander’s collection brought dark romance to the runway! Full skirts of tulle, velvet, and silk, paired with mauve, pink, and maroon floral accents. Moody eye makeup and loose wavy curls on each model completed the looks. Each model walked the runway with an adorable puppy available for adoption through Unleashed Pet Rescue. |

| Knitwear fabrics were a staple of the Wiki Wang collection. Bright neon colors and floral embroidery were a constant theme throughout the entire collection. The Mommy & Mini matching separates were the audience’s favorites, including a bright neon yellow sweater paired with matching tulle skits. |

ANNETTE SUNSHINE
Annette Sunshine’s collection brought the Rock n’ Roll energy to the runway! Sheer sparkle fabrics, off the shoulder and halter silhouettes paired with Brigitte Bardot hairstyles and headbands created show-stopping looks! Menswear was also sprinkled throughout the collection featuring sateen and jacquard fabric jackets and vests. |

| LITTLE JO DESIGNS
Right from the first look, this collection was Avant-garde, feminine, and bold. Full length gowns with sequin, rhinestones, and gold applique, detailed each of the pieces of the collection. Intricate jewelry, crowns, and chains headpieces adorned each of the stunning looks. This collection was such an exciting part of the show and so fun to watch evolve down the runway! |

ULAH/LUNA
The Ulah and Luna Fall/Winter curated collection was filled with cozy chic vibes! Jackets, vests, and denim paired with the hottest snow boots, hiking boots, and outdoors-y accessories you could possibly need to start the fall season off right! |

| NAAVA CURVE
Naava Curve brought the Miami heat to the KCFW runway! Pastel blue and yellow ombré and hot pink bikinis with crisscross patterns and cut out details. Each swim look was paired with blingy sunglasses, bright accessories, and confidence! |

HONEY MAGNOLIA
Honey Magnolia Studios featured Ready-to-Wear separates with skirts, jackets, dresses in dark emerald green and gold. This collection was a combination of work wear looks and evening wear looks with feminine details and fabrics. |

| Designer Duane Topping created gothic punk vibes with this mustard gold, maroon, and cream collection. The eye-catching pieces featured jackets, wide leg pants, bold patterns, cut-outs, and chain metal details. Each model had dark eye make-up and braided or twisted braid hairstyles to complete the looks. |
