Keeping up with the hottest denim trends of the fall season might feel overwhelming, but if I can give you one piece of advice this year, it's to invest in a quality pair of flare leg denim. Flare denim is making a major comeback and fortunately this style looks great on just about everyone. High waisted jeans with a flare leg silhouette give the illusion of long legs and a cinched waist. They are versatile enough to wear dressed down with boots and a flannel or dressed up with a blouse and heels. To avoid bulkiness in the leg, flares look best paired with a stacked or wedged heel. Platform sandals, clogs, and western-style boots are current Fall shoe trends that look great with flared styles. When styling anything high waisted, make sure the top paired with them is form fitted or has a defined waist. Don't pair a wide legged bottom with a flowy or oversized top because you will lose your body shape. Remember balance and proportions are key when styling a look.

Are skinny jeans still on trend? This is one question I am getting asked a lot right now. We have become really attached to our skinny and jegging styles and that's okay -- they aren't going anywhere. At this point skinny jeans have become a wardrobe staple and nothing pairs as good with our boots and oversized sweaters, but this fall season so many other denim styles are being introduced into mainstream fashion and that's really exciting! We have so many more options when styling our fall wardrobe, so have fun and try something new!
