I am a little late on this post :(
Last weekend I attended "Fashionistas On A Mission" a shopping and beauty event to support the woman and children of The Rose Brooks Center, a domestic violence shelter in Kansas City. The event was held at The Garment District Boutique Collective hosted by my fellow fashionistas Jess Afshar of Mimi and Chichi fashion blog and Kim Wallace of Kimberlyloc.com. The event raised $1,070.00!!!
I had an amazing time mingling with familiar friends from the Kansas City fashion and beauty community as well as enjoying some Kansas Clean Distilled Whiskey :) I was lucky enough to be a winner of one of the fabulous raffle prizes - a clutch and necklace by Kansas City designer Whitney Manney! What a great event for an amazing cause!
