Fall 2014 Kansas City Fashion Week {Friday Night Look}

Friday night at KCFW was so much fun! The first show of the season is always super energetic and the excitement from the crowd and designers is such a great feeling. Four Project Runway designers sitting front row doesn't hurt either :)  The show was amazing and the designers blew me away! (more on that later). This by far has been my favorite season of Kansas City Fashion Week. Each season has consistently become better and better and the designers continue to push themselves with what they send down the runway! A huge Thanks to Kansas City Fashion Week for selecting me as Official Media again this season! I'm so lucky and thankful to be a part of the shows!

I didn't plan what I was going to wear on Friday night so I decided to wear this mostly black look with a statement necklace and a fun cheetah belt. Whenever I don't know what to wear I tend to reach for a classic little black dress. I actually wore this dress last season to the Kick Off Party at Standard Style {here}. I changed up the accessories paired with the dress and created a different look for this season. This dress is super flattering and long enough that I didn't feel uncomfortable sitting down and that's why I love wearing it.

Dress {c/o Charming Charlie} Shoes {Charlotte Russe similar here} Necklace {Maurices} Belt {Loft similar here} Purse {Target}

Watch for more Kansas City Fashion Week coverage throughout the week!

Thanks to Ashley and Brina for taking my photos!!
