Fall 2014 Kansas City Fashion Week {Friday Night Highlights}

The Friday night runway show of Kansas City Fashion Week was probably one of my favorite shows of the season! There was so much energy and excitement in the air and the show was unbelievable!
Here are a few of my top picks from the runway!

The colors used in this collection were right on point!! The yellow and gray combinations were absolute showstoppers! I couldn't stop staring at that yellow floor length skirt paired with the black top and gray belt. That was my favorite look from this collection,

I loved the patterns and colors in the TOMBOY collection as well! The fun vibe of the clothes with the circle and striped prints made this collection so fun to watch come down the runway! The dress with the two large green circles is on my wish list!

Alicia Janesko blew me away with her Caftan & Resort Wear collection! I was mesmerized by the amazing colors and prints on these goddess-like gowns! Can you imagine throwing one of these on over top of your swimsuit next summer! I would love to own one! The gold headpieces worn down the runway were just as gorgeous as the Caftans!

Heidi Herrman is one of my favorite Kansas City designers. She is so talented and has very impressive attention to detail and construction. Her clothes are very wearable with a retro vibe that I love. My favorite dress from the collection was the strapless yellow and blue floral with the full skirt.
