I'm super excited to let you all in on a project I've been working on! Wedding season is right around the corner and that means all the brides-to-be and her besties will be headed out on the hunt for the perfect bridesmaids dresses for her special day.
You know we have all heard it before...the bride will say, "I love these dresses because you will totally be able to wear them again!" but then, like every other bridesmaid dress, as soon as the wedding is over it gets pushed to the back of the closet and forgotten about...but why couldn't we wear them again!?!
My friends over at Essense of Australia invited me to check out their selection of Sorella Vita bridesmaid dresses so that I could show you how I'd restyle it to get more wear out of the dress after the wedding! Lets face it, these dresses are an investment, and like any investment piece in your wardrobe you have to find ways to get the most wear out of your purchase.
I picked out this gorgeous purple dress with this beautiful sheath overlay and full tulle skirt! The color is perfect and completely versatile and also comes in a longer length version. I think this style has become pretty popular in recent wedding seasons, so I'm sure some of you ladies out there might have something similar hanging in your closet after a recent bridesmaid gig.
Today I styled the dress in the traditional way with a classic up-do and elegant jewelry. Just for fun I added a pretty leopard coat.
Check back on Friday to see how I restyled my bridesmaid dress!
