Bridesmaid Dress ReStyled || Part 2

On Tuesday I told you all about a fun project I had been working on with my friends over at Essense of Australia! I was asked to pick out a bridesmaid dress and show you how I would wear it after the wedding. Today I am back to show you how I restyled my gorgeous purple dress!

This dress has a great shape and I love the tulle skirt! I decided to tie a button up plaid shirt over top for a fun girly look! I added a cute pair of strappy heels and a blue bag for an extra pop of color! The tulle fabric and full skirt make such a great layering piece for the base of the outfit.

I hope I have inspired you to come up with new ways to style your bridesmaid or formal dresses. If you use the dress as a layering piece to  be worn with tights, jackets, and dressy tops, there are so many outfit possibilities!

  3. How cute is this??? And what a great idea! Bridesmaids dresses are the sort of thing you can leave in your closet for years without having a clue what to do with them -- I love that you're remixing and wearing yours!!
